Video: In Crimea, 50 hectares of forest near Yalta caught fire due to Russian air defense operations

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, a forest fire in the mountains near Yalta has spread to 50 hectares.

According to preliminary data, the fire was caused by Russian air defense operations.

Efforts to extinguish the fire have been underway for three days now. Strong gusts of wind are complicating the work—in the mountainous terrain, wind speeds reach 15 m/s.

Due to the rugged terrain and strong winds, the fire continues to spread to new areas of the forest. Rescue workers and emergency services continue to battle the blaze.
