Russia carried out more than 1,100 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 1,107 strikes on 49 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the enemy attacks, 14 people, including three children, were wounded in Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district.
According to Fedorov, the Russian army carried out 16 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, Veselyanka, Tavriiske, Zalivne, Yuliivka, Samiilivka, Zhovta Krucha, Listivka, Mykilskyi, Chervonyi Yar, Preobrazhenka, Omelnyk, Shyroke, Soniachne, and Dolynka.
In addition, 824 drones of various types, primarily FPV drones, attacked dozens of settlements in the region, including Kushuhum, Novomykolaivka, Soniachne, Rozumivka, Kanivske, Stepnogorsk, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Bilohirya, Hulyaypilsk, Vozdvyzhivka, Dobropillya, Luhivske, and others.
The enemy also carried out four strikes with multiple-launch rocket systems on Lukyanivske and Mala Tokmachka.
Another 263 artillery attacks targeted a number of settlements, including Orikhiv, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Pavlivka, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Charivne, Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Huliaipilske, Verkhnia Tersa, and other communities in the region.
According to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, 161 reports were received regarding damage to residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, and vehicles as a result of Russian shelling.
Authorities continue to assess the consequences of the attacks and document yet another war crime committed by Russian occupation forces.

Over the past 24 hours, on July 27, Russian troops launched large-scale strikes on the Kherson region, using aircraft, attack drones, and artillery. As a result of the enemy attacks, three civilians were killed, and another 10 people were wounded.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 71 strikes on 23 settlements in the Sumy region. As a result of the enemy shelling, 19 people were injured, including seven children.
In the Bilopil community in the Sumy region, three people—a woman and her two young children—were injured as a result of a Russian drone attack.
Over the past day, on July 27, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 1,560 Russian soldiers. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released updated data on Russian military losses as of July 28, 2026.
