Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has carried out more than 6,000 attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
This was stated by First Deputy Minister of Energy Artem Nekrasov during the Concorde Capital investment conference in Kyiv.
According to him, power generation facilities, including distributed generation, have come under attack. In this regard, one of the key tasks remains the development of local generation in the regions and the creation of opportunities for the rapid restoration of power supply even after large-scale attacks.
Another priority for the energy sector is the development of Smart Grid systems, which will increase the resilience of power grids against enemy attacks.
Russia launched a massive attack on Trostyanets in the Sumy region.
Russia struck Kharkiv with KAB bombs, resulting in injuries to children.
