Soldiers of the 93rd Brigade are defending Druzhkivka under heavy drone attacks
Soldiers of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade “Kholodny Yar” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to steadfastly hold the city of Druzhkivka in Donetsk Oblast, thwarting attempts by Russian troops to capture the town.
Due to continuous strikes by Russian drones, local roads have turned into veritable obstacle courses, blocked by fallen utility poles, destroyed military and civilian vehicles, public transportation, and ground-based equipment.

Despite the deadly threat posed by enemy FPV drones, the occupiers have been unable to completely cut off logistics. To meet the needs of the front lines and hold their positions, Ukrainian troops are constantly on the move, using pickup trucks, ATVs, and even “Paladin” self-propelled artillery systems.
The brigade emphasizes that a comprehensive approach helps protect equipment and personnel while on the move. In particular, the joint efforts of gunners from mobile fire teams and electronic warfare (EW) systems, as well as the use of special anti-drone nets both on the vehicles themselves and directly above the roads, have proven highly effective.
This was reported by the brigade’s press service.
Since the start of the day on June 19, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 65 times. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors.
Finnish President Alexander Stubb suggested that hostilities in Ukraine could continue for at least another three to four months.
