Russia has destroyed more than 1.1 million Ukrainian textbooks

More than 1.1 million school textbooks have been destroyed as a result of Russian attacks in Ukraine. This was reported by Minister of Education and Science Andriy Butenko.

According to him, 13.5 million copies of textbooks are being printed for students this year. Efforts are currently underway to make up for the losses as quickly as possible and ensure a smooth start to the new school year.

The government is also developing support mechanisms for Ukrainian publishing houses whose printing and logistics facilities have been damaged by Russian shelling. This should help restore production and provide students with the necessary textbooks.
