Russia destroyed a Naftogaz facility in the Poltava region with ballistic missiles
On the night of September 22, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile strike on an oil and gas facility in the Poltava region. According to Naftogaz, at least five missiles struck the facility.
The attack damaged production facilities that had been out of operation for quite some time.
Naftogaz noted that the facility has been a target of the Russian military since 2022.
During this time, the facility has been attacked dozens of times by missiles and drones. Due to the regular shelling, the equipment has long since been rendered inoperable.
The company emphasizes that the latest strike targeted industrial infrastructure that was not operational at the time of the attack.

Russia systematically attacks Ukraine’s energy and gas production infrastructure. In particular, Naftogaz previously reported numerous strikes on its facilities in the Poltava region.

Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv region yesterday and today with Shahed-type strike drones. A three-year-old boy was killed in the attacks, and four other people were wounded.
Since the evening of September 21, air defense forces have shot down 177 Russian drones, one “Kalibr” missile, and eight “Banderole” missiles. Overall, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with these weapons throughout the night.
