Russia is attacking Ukraine with drones this morning; Shahed drones have been spotted in several regions
This morning, Russia continued its massive attacks on Ukraine using groups of attack drones. New waves of drones are crossing the state border and moving deeper into the country.
This is reported by the Ukrainian Air Force and monitoring channels.
As of 12:00 p.m., an air raid alert has been declared in the Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Vinnytsia regions, as well as in parts of the Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, and Zhytomyr regions.
According to monitoring sources, dozens of Russian drones are currently over Ukraine. Social media reports indicate significant activity by Shahed-type strike drones.
Eyewitnesses describe the situation as a massive movement of drones across various regions.

The redeployment of two Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Olenya airfield to Engels has also been recorded. Monitoring channels do not rule out the possibility of missile launches being prepared or carried out during these movements.
The Air Force urges citizens to remain in shelters until the all-clear is given.
In the Kherson region, 26 settlements were affected by Russian shelling. A total of 37 facilities were damaged.
As a reminder, following the enemy attack, oil contaminated the coast of Chornomorskand harmed birds.
In the port of Chornomorsk, efforts to clean up the sunflower oil spill are ongoing—booms have been installed.
As a reminder, thousands of tons of oil spilled into the sea in Chornomorsk as a result of the Russian strike.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, police officers came under fire while evacuating people.
