Russia attacked a foreign tugboat near Odesa; two Azerbaijanis were killed
Russian forces struck the civilian tugboat Tedy, which was sailing under a foreign flag off the coast of the Odesa region. Two crew members—citizens of Azerbaijan—were killed in the attack.
Two other Azerbaijani sailors were injured. They were hospitalized, while six other crew members received the necessary medical care on the spot.
Ukraine emphasized that Russian forces continue to attack civilian shipping and port infrastructure, posing a threat to Ukrainian and foreign sailors.
The Ukrainian side stated that it is documenting such incidents and informing international partners about Russia’s attacks on civilian vessels and transportation infrastructure.

As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region following an attack by the Russian Federation.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
