Russia will not be able to capture Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka by the end of April — Zelenskyy
Russian forces do not have sufficient resources to capture Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka by the end of April.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement during a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.
“It’s impossible; they don’t have the strength to do it right now, so there’s nothing to discuss here,” the head of state emphasized.
According to him, despite their plans remaining unchanged, Russian troops are forced to postpone their implementation due to a lack of resources and significant losses.
“They are postponing this objective; it remains unchanged. They lack the forces to do so, and they are suffering heavy losses,” the president noted.
At the same time, the situation in the Pokrovsk direction, according to Zelenskyy, remains difficult but under the control of Ukrainian forces.
“It’s very difficult, but stable. Unfortunately, it’s very difficult there, but our troops are holding their ground,” he added.
In addition, particularly high activity by Russian troops is being recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.
In the Kharkiv sector of combat operations, Ukrainian troops spotted a Russian all-terrain ground robotic complex, the “Chelnok.”
