Russia is allocating half of its budget to the war and has reached a peak in ballistic missile production – GUR
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, the Russian Federation spends about 47% of its national budget on waging war against Ukraine.
This was stated by Major General Vadym Skibitsky, deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
Key points from the intelligence official’s statement:
War expenditures: Nearly half of the Russian Federation’s total state funds are directly allocated to military needs.
Ballistic missile production: The aggressor country’s military-industrial complex has reached its maximum capacity and is capable of producing approximately 60–65 ballistic missiles per month for the “Iskander” systems.
Purpose of the strikes on Ukraine: Massive missile and drone attacks are aimed at causing panic among the population and destroying critical infrastructure and defense industry facilities.
The enemy’s fears: Russia fears the development of Ukraine’s capabilities to carry out mid-range and long-range strikes (mid-strikes and deep-strikes), as well as Ukraine’s use of its own ballistic missiles.
