Russia Lost Another 1,400 Troops in the Past 24 Hours — General Staff

Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have eliminated approximately 1,400 Russian soldiers, and the total losses of Russian military personnel since the start of the full-scale war have reached approximately 1,482,150. In addition, Ukrainian forces destroyed 53 artillery systems, seven armored combat vehicles, four tanks, and other equipment belonging to the occupying forces.

 

As of August 27, Russia has suffered the following losses in the war with Ukraine:

  • personnel—about 1,482,150 (+1,400) people;
  • tanks – 12,304 (+4);
  • armored combat vehicles – 25,237 (+7);
  • artillery systems – 48,694 (+53);
  • multiple launch rocket systems – 2,065 (+3);
  • air defense systems – 1,590 (+2);
  • aircraft – 440 (+0);
  • helicopters – 354 (+0);
  • ground-based robotic systems – 2,404 (+17) units;
  • operational-tactical UAVs – 483,367 (+1,762) units;
  • cruise missiles – 5,052 (+0) units;
  • ships/boats – 35 (+0);
  • submarines – 2 (+0);
  • Vehicles and tanker trucks – 140,248 (+494) units;
  • special equipment – 4,602 (+10) units
