Russia launched 746 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past day
Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers attacked 52 settlements in the region 746 times. As a result of the strikes on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, one person was killed and seven others were wounded.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Defense Council, on Telegram.
According to him, Russian forces carried out 22 airstrikes on Komyshuvaha, Ternuvate, Myrivka, Tavriiske, Zaporizhets, Novooleksandrivka, Novoivanivka, Orikhiv, Soniachne, Chervonyi Yar, Omelnyk, Preobrazhenka, Vasynivka, Vilnyanka, and Mykilske.
A total of 565 UAVs of various types attacked Zaporizhzhia, Richne, Malokaterynivka, Lysogirka, Bekarivka, Mykhailivske, Tymoshivka, Rizdvyanka, Chervono-Dniprovka, Bilenke, Hryhorivka, Novoyakovlivka, Zapasne, Kamianuvate, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Plavni, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Novopavlivka, Mala Tokmachka, Preobrazhenka, Chervona Krynytsia, Omelnyk, Charivne, Luhivske, Novoselivka, Hulyaypilsk, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvizhivka, Rivne, Kosivtseve, and Novozaporizhzhia.
Five MLRS attacks were recorded on Novoyakovlivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Chervona Krynytsia.
154 artillery strikes hit Malokaterynivka, Richne, Chervonodniprovka, Hryhorivka, Zapasne, Novoyakovlivka; Stepnogorsk, Primorsky, Pavlivka, Lukyanivskyi, Plavni, Orikhiv, Zaliznychnyi, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novopavlivka, Novodanilivka, Malaya Tokmachka, Preobrazhenka, Chervona Krynytsia, Omelnyk, Luhivskyi, Charivnyi, Novoselivka, Huliaipilske, Hirkyi, Staroukrainka, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhivka, Novozaporizhzhia, Rivne, and Kosivtsove.
There were 25 reports of damage to infrastructure, homes, cars, and farm buildings, Fyodorov added.
As a reminder, in the Kyiv region, air defense forces engaged Russian drones.
Earlier, three Ukrainians fighting for Russia were captured in Chasovoy Yar.
On September 15, a Russian drone strike was recorded in Kyiv’s Svyatoshynsky District.
In the Solomyanskyi district of the capital, an impact was recorded on the grounds of a garage cooperative.
