Russia launched a missile strike on two districts of Kharkiv
On the night of July 8, the Russian army launched a missile attack on Kharkiv. According to preliminary reports, strikes were recorded in the Osnovyansky and Nemyshlyansky districts of the city; emergency services are on the scene, and the extent of the damage and information about casualties are being assessed.
The first reports of the attack’s aftermath emerged around 1:45 a.m.
“Missile strikes have been recorded in the Osnovyanskyi district. The consequences are being assessed,” said Ihor Terekhov.
Just a few minutes later, the mayor reported another strike.
“We are also confirming a missile strike in the Nemyshlyanskyi district,” he noted.
As of 2:03 a.m., the initial consequences of the strike on the Nemyshlyanskyi district became known.
“More than 10 private homes were damaged as a result of a missile strike in the Nemyshlyanskyi district. All relevant emergency services are on the scene,” the mayor said.
As a reminder, Russian forces struck Odesa—there are casualties, and infrastructure has been damaged.
The strike on Odesa was carried out with a missile equipped with a cluster warhead.
