Russians failed to capture Huliaipole, all attempts to break through failed, — CSD
Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian front in the Zaporizhzhia region and occupy the city of Huliaipole, but all enemy attacks failed.
This was reported by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the NSDC's Centre for Countering Disinformation, on Telegram.
‘The Russians' attempts to occupy Huliaipole have failed. Putin is trying to demonstrate his power to the Americans, but the reality is quite the opposite,’ Kovalenko said.
He added that Russian troops are unable to break through the defences, although the fighting remains very intense. ‘The Russian Federation's goal remains unchanged – the destruction of the state of Ukraine, but they will not succeed,’ the head of the NSDC's Centre for Countering Disinformation emphasised.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops have begun to actively use new tactics to combat Ukrainian drones.
