The Russians struck the Zaporizhzhia region; there are casualties
Russian forces launched six strikes on Novomykolaivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Seven people were injured. Buildings in the village were damaged and a fire broke out. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
Russian troops shelled the village of Novomykolaivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. According to regional authorities, at least six strikes were recorded. Seven people were injured in the attack—three women and four men. All of them are currently under medical supervision.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, reported that the shelling damaged civilian infrastructure. “As a result of the shelling, the House of Culture, a dormitory, and the village council building were partially destroyed. A store and residents’ homes were also damaged,” he wrote.

A fire broke out in the village following the strikes. It was successfully extinguished. The situation remains tense. An air raid alert is in effect in the region, and monitoring channels are warning of possible new strikes. Local authorities are urging residents not to ignore the air raid sirens and to remain in shelters.

Additionally, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that in March, the Russian army suffered its heaviest losses since the start of the full-scale war.
