Russian KABs killed a woman and two children in Sumy
On the night of August 4, 2026, Russian troops launched guided airstrikes on Sumy. Two children and an elderly woman were killed in the attack.
Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook.
“Two children and an elderly woman were killed by Russian guided bombs in Sumy last night. The girls were 5 and 10 years old. The children’s bodies were recovered from the rubble of their home,” the head of the Regional Military Administration said.
According to him, residential buildings and non-residential structures were destroyed or damaged. Assessments are ongoing, and efforts to address the aftermath of the attack are underway.
Four more people sought medical attention. They are experiencing acute stress reactions.
Six guided aerial bombs struck the city’s civilian infrastructure. According to air defense forces, two more Russian aerial bombs were shot down as they approached populated areas, Grigorov added.
Earlier, drones attacked the strategic port of Taman in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation.
