Russian shelling in the Donetsk region: one person killed, seven wounded

As a result of attacks by Russian forces over the past 24 hours, on July 14, one civilian was killed in the Donetsk region. Seven more people were wounded in the shelling of the region.

 

This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

According to him, on July 14, Russian forces killed one person in Raigorodok.

Seven more people in the region were wounded over the past day: two in Raigorodok, three in Mykolaivka, and two in Kramatorsk.

The total number of Russian casualties in the Donetsk region (4,163 dead and 9,876 injured) does not include figures from Mariupol and Volnovakha, Filashkin added.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces pushed back Russian troops near the villages of Maliivka, Sichneve, Novoheorhiivka, and Zaporizke in the Synelnykivskyi District of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. 

Over the past 24 hours, 244 combat engagements took place on the front lines. Ukrainian forces continue to repel the advance of Russian occupation forces, inflicting losses on the enemy in terms of personnel and equipment.

On the night of July 14, Russian forces launched a massive combined attack on Ukraine, using ballistic missiles, guided air-to-ground missiles, and attack drones. Air defense forces intercepted five ballistic missiles, two Kh-59/69 missiles, and 108 enemy drones.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s drone forces have struck or destroyed 1,559 Russian military targets, including 15 enemy vessels.
