Russian forces attack Dnipropetrovsk region, people injured
Russian forces attacked the Kryvyi Rih, Kamianske, Synelnykove and Nikopol districts of the Dnipropetrovsk regionusing drones, aerial bombs and artillery. As a result of the shelling, two people were injured.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
According to him, Kryvyi Rih came under a massive attack. Fires broke out in the city and infrastructure was damaged.
In the city of Verkhivtseve in the Kamianske district, transport infrastructure was damaged. Two men, aged 38 and 45, were injured.
In the Synelnykove district, the Pokrovske community came under attack. A private house that had been destroyed caught fire, while two more houses and a fire station were damaged.
In the Nikopol district, the district centre and the Pokrovske community were shelled. A residential building was damaged as a result of the attacks.
Earlier, Ukraine’s air defence forces neutralised 136 out of 155 drones launched by Russian troops during an overnight attack that began on the evening of 4 March.
Russian forces have also intensified attacks on Ukraine’s railway infrastructure. Key targets include rolling stock and facilities that support transportation operations. Since the beginning of March, at least 18 strikes on railway infrastructure have been recorded. As a result, 41 facilities have been damaged, affecting infrastructure operations and transportation safety.
On the morning of 4 March, Russian forces shelled Kherson again. As a result of the attack, a 76-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were killed.
