Russian Forces Attempt to Break Through in the Center of Hryshyne and Capture Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad
Russian occupation forces are attempting to advance into the central part of Hryshyne and fully capture Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in Donetsk region.
This was reported by the “East” military grouping.
Pokrovsk Direction. Ukrainian defenders repelled 21 enemy assault actions in the areas of Rodynske, Kotlyne, Novomykolaivka, Udachne, Filiya, and in the direction of Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, and Novopavlivka.
According to preliminary estimates, over the past day in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration area, Ukrainian troops eliminated 63 occupiers, and another 23 were wounded.
Additionally, one artillery system and four units of specialized equipment were destroyed. Damaged were three tanks, two artillery systems, one vehicle, one electronic warfare system, and 58 enemy shelters. Furthermore, 192 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
It is noted that Russian forces are concentrating their efforts on advancing in the Hryshyne area, attempting to break through into the central part of the settlement, while simultaneously assaulting it from the north and south.
In addition, the occupiers are attempting to fully take control of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding positions on the northern outskirts of these cities.
Slovyansk Direction. Over the past day, Ukrainian troops stopped six enemy attempts to advance in the Zakitne area and in the direction of Yampil, Platonivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction. No enemy offensive actions were recorded.
Kostiantynivka Direction. Russian forces carried out 19 attacks in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Rusynyi Yar, Sofiivka, and in the direction of Illinivka and Stepanivka.
Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to restrain enemy assaults. To achieve this, aerial reconnaissance is being strengthened, possible enemy advance routes are mined, and their logistics routes are being blocked. Drone units, artillery, and aviation are actively operating.
Overall, in the area of responsibility of the “East” military grouping, Russian forces’ losses over the past day amounted to 347 personnel. Additionally, 1,539 drones of various types were destroyed, and 121 units of other weapons and equipment were hit.
Recently, fighters from Lazar’s Group together with the 429th Separate Drone Brigade “Achilles” and the Joint Forces grouping detected and neutralized a Russian S-400 “Triumf” surface-to-air missile system.
Fighters of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great struck enemy equipment and drones in the Kupiansk direction.
