Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 79 times
Since the start of the day on July 25, the Russian army has carried out 79 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The occupiers are most active in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Sloviansk sectors, where fierce fighting continues.
The Russians continue to shell the border areas with artillery. Today, in the Sumy region, the following settlements were hit: Neskuchne, Korenok, Sopych, Kucherivka, Rohizne, Ulanove, Buvaline, Bachivsk, and Hirky; in the Chernihiv region—Khotiyivka and Prohres.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out 34 attacks on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including five attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the invaders made seven attempts to break through the defenses in the areas around the settlements of Prylipka and Starytsia, as well as toward the settlements of Ternova, Izbytske, and Khatne. One engagement is ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched one attack toward Shyikivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled four attempts by the invaders to advance toward Lyman.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces repelled 15 enemy attacks in the areas around the settlements of Kryva Luka and Zakytne, as well as toward Piskunivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. One engagement is still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, no enemy offensive operations were recorded.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 attacks in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, and toward Stepanivka. Two firefights are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, since the start of the day, the invaders have attempted 22 times to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions in the areas around the settlements of Shakove, Sofiivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and toward the settlements of Vilne, Nove Shakove, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, and Myrne. One clash is still ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched two attacks toward Verbove and Berezove.
In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks toward the settlements of Verkhnia Tersa, Tsvitkove, Vozdvizhivka, Kosivtseve, Hirke, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
In other sectors, there are currently no significant changes in the situation. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, releasing operational information as of 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25.
As a reminder, one person was killed and 11 others were injured as a result of a Russian strike with three KAB bombs on Zaporizhzhia. Among the victims were three children. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing at the impact sites, and law enforcement officials are documenting yet another crime committed by Russian troops against the civilian population. The Zaporizhzhia Regional Police reported this on Telegram.
On the morning of July 25, Russian forces launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia using guided aerial bombs. A woman was killed in the attack, and several other people were injured. Rescue and emergency services are working at the scene, and details regarding the consequences of the shelling are being clarified.
