Russian troops destroyed the home of biathlete Marta Herko in Sumy
The Russians completely destroyed the home of young Ukrainian biathlete Marta Herko in the city of Sumy with two guided aerial bombs.
During the airstrike on September 16, the girl’s parents managed to take cover after receiving a warning about the guided bombs being launched, while Marta herself was returning home from school and was nearby when the explosions occurred. The family miraculously survived, but their home was completely destroyed.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Biathlon Federation.
Russia attacked the Odesa region again, setting warehouse buildings ablaze.
Russia also struck Lozova, damaging the train station and causing one fatality.
