A Russian drone attacked a railway facility in the Poltava region
On the evening of August 1, a Russian drone struck a railway infrastructure facility in the Lubny District of Poltava Oblast. The attack damaged the infrastructure facility.
“The enemy has once again attacked the Poltava region,” Dyakivnych noted.
According to him, the UAV was recorded crashing in an open area in the Myrhorod district.

As of now, Dyakivnych noted, emergency services have not received any reports of injuries.

In Kyiv, the death toll from the Russian attack has risen; children are among the wounded.
As a reminder, Russian drones attacked the Chernihiv region, damaging a gas station and a resort.
Russia launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv on the afternoon of July 24, although such attacks usually occur at night. An expert believes this could have been an attempt to wear down Ukraine’s air defense, a show of force, or the result of a technical delay in the missile launch.
