Over the past 24 hours, the SBS struck more than 2,300 targets and 558 Russian drones

Over the past 24 hours, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces struck 2,321 Russian military targets. Among them were 558 enemy drones of various types, 149 vehicles, and 14 artillery systems. In addition, 528 enemy personnel were identified as hit, 233 of whom were killed.

 

Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces continue to actively target Russian troops and equipment. According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, Ukrainian military forces struck 2,321 enemy targets over the past 24 hours. The majority of these were enemy personnel and drones.

What was struck over the past day

According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, Ukrainian units struck 528 Russian troops. Of these, 233 occupiers were eliminated. “Among the targets struck were 528 personnel, of whom 233 were eliminated,” according to the Unmanned Systems Forces’ report. Also over the past day, the Ukrainian military struck:

• 58 launch sites for Russian drones;
• 28 radars, electronic intelligence systems, electronic warfare systems, and communications equipment;
• 149 vehicles;
• 14 artillery systems;
• 558 drones of various types.

Among the drones destroyed or neutralized were “copter,” “flying wing,” “Shahed,” and “Gerbera” models. Thus, in just one day, Ukrainian drone operators neutralized more than half a thousand Russian drones.

UAS Results Since Early September

The Unmanned Systems Forces also summarized their operations for the first 26 days of September. From September 1 to 26, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck 53,283 Russian military targets. Among them were 11,164 enemy personnel. “Since the beginning of September (September 1–26), units of the Unmanned Systems Forces have struck 53,283 enemy targets, 11,164 of which were enemy personnel,” the Unmanned Systems Forces reported. These include various categories of targets, such as military personnel, equipment, communications systems, drones, and other Russian military assets.

Russia’s Total Casualties Over the Past 24 Hours

Separately, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the Russian army’s total losses over the past 24 hours. According to its data, these losses amounted to approximately 1,690 soldiers. Thus, the figure of 233 eliminated cited in the SBS report specifically refers to the results of operations by the Unmanned Systems Forces. This is not the total number of Russian soldiers eliminated by all Ukrainian Defense Forces over the past 24 hours.

The UAS continue to use drones to strike Russian personnel, equipment, artillery, reconnaissance assets, and the enemy’s drones themselves. The total number of targets struck, according to the units, continues to rise. This was reported in a summary posted on the SBS Telegram channel on Sunday morning.

On September 26 and during the night of September 27, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck key military facilities of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories. The strikes targeted a storage, preparation, and launch site for attack drones, two ammunition depots, a logistics depot, and a fuel and lubricants depot. 

Over the past 24 hours, on September 26, there were 221 combat engagements on the front lines. Russian forces carried out 90 airstrikes, dropped 289 guided bombs, deployed over 10,000 kamikaze drones, and fired 2,729 rounds. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions—26 in each.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost approximately 1,690 soldiers. Total Russian personnel losses since the start of the full-scale war have reached approximately 1,528,970. During the same period, Russian troops lost dozens of pieces of military equipment, including 57 artillery systems, seven armored vehicles, and eight tanks.

On the night of September 27, Russia attacked Ukraine with 170 strike drones, including 76 jet-powered ones. As of 7:30 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 147 enemy drones. At the same time, strikes were recorded at 18 locations, and debris from downed targets fell at eight additional sites.
