SBU reports suspicion against four Russians over Missile Strike on Kryvyi Rih

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has filed charges in absentia against four Russian military personnel involved in the missile attack on Kryvyi Rih that took place on April 4, 2025.

This was reported by the SBU on Telegram.

As a result of the attack, which involved the use of an Iskander-M ballistic missile, 20 people were killed, and many buildings were damaged, including a children’s playground.

The investigation has established all circumstances and identified the organizers of the crime.

The suspects include Colonel General Oleksiy Kim, Vice Admiral Oleksandr Peshkov, Rear Admiral Oleksiy Petrushin, and Colonel Oleksandr Kisiedobriyev.

These individuals are accused of committing war crimes that resulted in the deaths of civilians. The Security Service of Ukraine continues to work on holding the perpetrators accountable and collecting evidence of their involvement in this crime.

The attack caused wide public outrage and became yet another demonstration of Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine over many years. The Russian Ministry of Defense attempted to blame Ukrainian forces for the damage, but Ukraine has denied this information. The investigation continues, and further actions will depend on how the situation develops.
