Unmanned aerial systems struck Russian logistics facilities in the Zaporizhzhia region

UA NEWS 13 April 2026 18:50
Unmanned aerial systems struck Russian logistics facilities in the Zaporizhzhia region

Soldiers from the "Raid" Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems Forces used Ukrainian drones to launch a comprehensive strike against the enemy's rear logistics in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia.

The unit reported this on Facebook. During the operation, a supply depot, a logistics hub, and a fuel tanker belonging to the occupying forces were destroyed.

According to the military, the successful destruction of these targets will significantly complicate the supply of Russian forces and limit their ability to conduct combat operations in the southern sectors. The use of domestically produced drones allowed for precision strikes deep within the occupied territories. The regiment released video footage confirming the effectiveness of the operation.

The destruction of logistical infrastructure is part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strategy to deplete the aggressor’s resources before the start of active offensive phases. The effectiveness of the Unmanned Systems Forces demonstrates the Ukrainian Army’s ability to control the enemy’s rear areas over long distances. Further monitoring of the consequences of strikes on Russian targets in the region is currently underway.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully thwarted another attempt by Russian troops to cross the Bakhmutka River, destroying the enemy’s crossing before it could be used.

Soldiers from the Raid Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces detected and destroyed an enemy communications antenna on the front lines that was tuned to Gazprom’s Yamal-601 satellite.
