Defense forces have withdrawn to new positions in the Sumy region — 14th Corps

The situation in the area around the village of Myropilskoye in the Krasnopilskaya community of Sumy Oblast remains tense.

This was reportedby the press service of the 14th Army Corps.

Defense forces have moved to pre-prepared defensive lines to hold their positions in this sector.

"Due to intense combat operations and the enemy’s superiority in forces and equipment, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, in order to preserve the lives of their personnel, have moved to new prepared lines, where they continue to hold their defenses. The enemy is being targeted by artillery units, unmanned aerial vehicle units, and other firepower," the Facebook post states.

It is noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are monitoring the situation, conducting reconnaissance, and are ready for further action.

The highest intensity of Russian attacks has been recorded in the Pokrovskdirection.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully thwarted another attempt by Russian troops to cross the Bakhmutka River, destroying the enemy crossing before it could be used.

Soldiers from the Raid Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces detected and destroyed an enemy communications antenna on the front lines that was tuned to Gazprom’s Yamal-601 satellite.
