The Ukrainian Armed Forces have refuted Russia's claim regarding the occupation of the Luhansk region

Ukrainian defenders continue to hold their positions near the towns of Nadiya, Novoyegorivka, and Hrekivka in the Luhansk region, despite the enemy’s claims of advancing. The statements by the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation regarding the capture of these territories are untrue.

This was stated by Alexander Borodin, spokesperson for the Third Army Corps, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

Spokesperson for the Third Army Corps Oleksandr Borodin noted that Russia is constantly conducting offensive operations, having carried out over 150 assaults in the past six months. The occupiers are expending a significant number of personnel and resources, yet the front line remains virtually unchanged.

Currently, the situation is stable, and the enemy has ceased the large-scale mechanized assaults that took place earlier. The Russian Federation’s operational objective remains advancing in the Borova-Liman direction, which they view as the key to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.

Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov once again made a cynical statement about the alleged complete occupation of the Luhansk region
