About 60 settlements are without power in occupied Crimea
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, approximately 60 settlements have been left with no power—either completely or partially—as a result of a large-scale accident on the power grids.
The power outage has affected several major cities and entire administrative districts of the peninsula.
The Russian occupation administration is attempting to address the damage, but the exact timeline for restoring power remains unknown.
A major power grid failure was reported in the western and central parts of the peninsula. Part of Crimea is without power due to a grid failure, according to the Russian company “Krymenergo.”
The cities of Yevpatoria, Saki, and Simferopol are without power. Power outages have also been reported in the towns of Zaozernoye and Razdolnoye.
The sudden power outage has caused pumping stations to shut down, disrupted water supply, and turned off traffic lights on busy roads.
In addition to major urban centers, dozens of smaller settlements have been left without a stable power supply.
The Simferopol, Razdolnoye, Saki, and Bakhchisaray districts are partially without power. In total, about 60 settlements on the peninsula, which is temporarily occupied by Russia, are affected.
