In the Sumy region, ten people were injured as a result of a massive attack by Russian drones; among them is a woman who was seriously wounded and suffered severe burns. The strikes targeted the Okhtyrka district, where damage to residential buildings and infrastructure has been reported. Medical personnel are fighting to save the life of one of the victims, whose condition is considered critical.
Russian forces carried out a massive drone attack on the Okhtyrka district of Sumy Oblast, striking the city of Okhtyrka and surrounding communities, where explosions damaged private homes and gas station premises. According to local authorities, the enemy deployed a significant number of drones during the attack, some of which flew at low altitudes, making it difficult for air defense forces to detect and shoot them down.
The most severe consequences were reported in the Kyrykivka community, where a 53-year-old woman suffered serious burns and is in the hospital in critical condition, while nine other people sought medical attention following the attack. Doctors continue to provide the necessary treatment to the victims, whose conditions are assessed as varying in severity. At the same time, experts are still assessing the full extent of the damage, as some of the damage is only being discovered after surveys of the affected areas have been completed. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a 56-year-old woman was killed as a result of Russian shelling, and two other people, including a 13-year-old girl, were injured. The enemy strikes affected several districts of the region at once, causing damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.
Russian troops carried out 924 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. Forty-two settlements came under fire. According to the regional military administration, one person was killed and 29 others were wounded, including three children.
