Defense forces struck a Russian ammunition depot and destroyed oil storage tanks in Mariupol
Ukrainian forces successfully struck an ammunition depot in the Belgorod region, as well as a number of enemy command posts and the occupiers’ logistics hubs in several regions.
In addition, the command confirmed the precise destruction and damage of nearly two dozen fuel tanks at the temporarily occupied Mariupol seaport.
Massive strikes on Russian invaders’ targets were carried out on June 8 and during the night of June 9, 2026.
According to official data, the Defense Forces’ precision strikes covered both the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and the border regions of the Russian Federation.
In particular, in the Belgorod region, a large ammunition depot located near the village of Prokhorovka was hit. Key command structures of the invaders, which coordinated operations on the front lines, were also targeted.
Ukrainian defenders attacked Russian command posts in the Mykilskyi and Shevchenko-Pershyi districts of the Donetsk region.
Similar enemy military targets were successfully struck in the Naumovka area of the Belgorod region, as well as in the village of Iskra in the Kursk region.
At the same time, Ukrainian troops neutralized the occupiers’ drone command posts in the Shevchenko-Pershyi area of Donetsk Oblast, the Zaliznychne area of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and the Oleshky area of Kherson Oblast.
Ukrainian artillery units and drone operators paid special attention to the logistical support of the Russian troop grouping. In the Fedorivka area of Donetsk Oblast, the Armed Forces struck a major Russian logistics hub.
At the same time, the invaders’ supply depots in the areas of Mykhailivka in Luhansk Oblast and Hyunivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast came under fire.
Strikes were also recorded against enemy troop concentrations in the areas of Kurakhove, Kalynove, Shevchenko, and Stupochky in Donetsk Oblast; Novohryhorivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; and Iskra in Kursk Oblast.
A significant achievement was the official confirmation of the results of a previous successful operation by Ukrainian forces in the coastal region.
Military intelligence and command have completed verification of data regarding the results of the attack that took place earlier this month.
