Ukrainian defenders continue successful operations in the southern direction, reclaiming settlements from Russian occupation.
According to an official statement from the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, the village of Kosivtseve in Zaporizhzhia Oblast has been completely cleared of enemy forces.
The operation was carried out by an assault unit specialising in reconnaissance-strike and counter-sabotage actions. As a result of the planned offensive, the enemy was forced to abandon their positions, and the settlement came under full Ukrainian control.
“33rd Separate Assault Regiment is conducting reconnaissance-strike and counter-sabotage operations in the designated area. As part of the operation, Kosivtseve village, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, has been cleared of Russian occupiers,” the regiment stated in an official announcement.
