Ukrainian Forces Repel 29 Attacks on Pokrovsk Axis, Destroy Enemy Drone Command Points
Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 29 assault attempts on the Pokrovsk axis over the past 24 hours, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while striking four enemy drone command points and several equipment concentrations.
A total of 130 combat engagements were recorded along the front, with the Pokrovsk axis remaining the most contested. Ukrainian defenders inflicted heavy losses on Russian troops in both personnel and equipment.
The Russian army carried out intense bombardments, deploying nearly 10,000 kamikaze drones and over 250 guided bombs in a single day. Dozens of settlements in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions suffered significant damage to civilian infrastructure.
Fighting was also active on the Huliaipole axis, where 28 enemy attacks were repelled near Zaliznychne and Varvarivka. Ukrainian forces forced Russian troops to retreat to their previous positions.
On the Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka axes, over 20 enemy assaults aimed at strategic highways were also successfully repelled through coordinated infantry operations and missile fire support. Ukrainian aviation and artillery were highly effective, destroying four artillery systems and an enemy ammunition depot.
President Volodymyr Zelensky previously highlighted that Ukrainian forces maintained all key defensive positions over the winter.
For the first time since 2024, Ukraine recaptured more territory in a single month than the enemy captured.
