Defense forces repelled 40 enemy assaults in the Pokrovsk sector
Ukrainian forces continue to resolutely repel the powerful offensive by Russian invaders, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in terms of personnel and equipment.
Over the past 24 hours, 263 combat engagements were recorded across the entire front.
The fiercest fighting continues in the east and south of the country, where units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are repelling numerous attempts by the enemy to advance deeper into our territory.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched one missile strike, firing 73 missiles, and carried out 80 airstrikes, dropping 252 guided bombs.
In addition, the invaders deployed 9,735 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,156 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 55 using multiple launch rocket systems.
In response, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck two areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, two command posts, four artillery systems, and five drone control stations.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders demonstrated high resilience, repelling 40 assault attempts by the aggressor.
Combat clashes took place in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Vasylivka, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, and Udachne, as well as in the direction of the settlements of Stepy, Ivanivka, Serhiivka, Shevchenko, and Dorozhne.
The enemy attempted to break through the defense line but failed and suffered significant losses under effective fire.
High-intensity combat was also recorded in the Huliaipole sector, where the occupiers carried out 44 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Dobropillia, Zlagoda, Zaliznychne, Olenokostyantynivka, Pryluky, and toward Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Charivne, Tsvitkove, and Hirke.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy launched 20 assaults in the areas of Zakitne, Riznykivka, and toward the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.
On other sections of the front, Ukrainian soldiers also prevented the enemy from achieving their objectives. In the Lyman direction, 14 attempts were recorded to breach our defenses toward the settlements of Drobysheve, Dibrova, Lyman, and in the areas of the settlements of Zarichne and Yampil.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the occupiers carried out 12 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, and toward Novopavlivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled five enemy attempts to advance toward the settlements of Kupiansk, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, and Kurylivka.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units four times in the area of the settlement of Starytsia and in the direction of the settlements of Izbytske and Vilcha.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked seven times in the Vorone, Ternove, and Kalynivka areas.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled three enemy attempts to advance in the area of the settlement of Shcherbaky. Meanwhile, in the Dnipro direction, our defenders successfully repelled two attacks toward the Antonivsky Bridge.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursky sectors, one combat engagement took place over the past 24 hours; the aggressor carried out two airstrikes using three guided aerial bombs and conducted 76 shelling attacks.
