Satellite images have confirmed damage to the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai following a Ukrainian strike.
This was reported by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
The released images show damaged fuel tanks, pipelines, and infrastructure elements at one of the berths.
It is also noted that a satellite photo from May 11 showed three ships near the terminal, whereas after the strike, no ships were observed near the pier.
Gazprom’s Astrakhan gas processing plant halted production of automotive fuel following a drone attack on May 13. The strike caused a massive fire at the facility, damaging key processing equipment.
