Trump called on Zelenskyy to stop attacks on Russian oil refineries
U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that Ukraine is allegedly causing a diesel fuel shortage in Russia by attacking its oil refineries.
“Zelenskyy must stop destroying diesel fuel in Russia. He is creating a diesel shortage. This is not happening because of the Middle East, but because Ukraine is attacking oil refineries in Russia,” Trump said.
According to the U.S. president, Ukraine’s strikes on Russian oil infrastructure are one of the reasons for global diesel fuel supply problems.
Recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated: Russia, as an aggressor state, will face a response if it strikes Ukraine’s energy system this winter.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on the results of Ukrainian long-range strikes aimed at weakening Russia’s capacity to wage war against Ukraine. In particular, Ukrainian strikes hit targets in Dagestan and Udmurtia.
