An oil depot caught fire in Russia’s Belgorod region after a drone attack
In Russia’s Belgorod region, Ukrainian drones attacked an oil depot. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out on the territory of the facility in the Starooskol urban district.

Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed a detonation at the site, which caused several fuel storage tanks to catch fire.
According to him, the strike on the oil depot was carried out the previous evening.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked an oil depot on the territory of the Starooskol urban district using a drone,” Gladkov said.
He also noted that fire crews are working at the scene, and information regarding the scale of the damage and possible consequences is being clarified.
At the same time, Russia’s Ministry of Defence reported the alleged downing of 23 drones on the evening of 6 January, 11 of which were over the territory of Belgorod region.
In addition, the Telegram channel ASTRA published photos and videos of the fire, which, according to its data, confirm that drones hit the oil depot in the region.
On the evening of 6 January, an oil depot in the Starooskol urban district was attacked by drones. As a result of a detonation at the facility, a fire broke out that engulfed several storage tanks. Fire crews are working at the scene, and no information about casualties has been reported so far.
Attacks by Ukrainian drones on Moscow have become a daily occurrence.
