Five police officers were injured in Dergachi following a second attack by a Russian drone
On July 18, Russian terrorist forces launched two strikes on Dergachi in the Kharkiv region using attack drones. Five police officers were wounded during the second attack.
At around 5:20 a.m., Russian forces launched a strike with a “Geran-2” drone against a private residential property. The drone did not detonate. Police officers arrived at the scene to assist any potential victims and secure the explosive device until bomb disposal experts arrived.
About three hours later, around 8:20 a.m., Russian forces again attacked the same residential property with a “Geran-2” drone.

As a result of the strike, five police officers who were on duty suffered acoustic trauma. They are currently at a medical facility and are receiving the necessary care.
The attack also caused a fire in a residential building, which was extinguished by State Emergency Service rescuers. One house was completely destroyed, and several outbuildings were damaged.

As a reminder, on July 18, the Russian terrorist army launched a double strike on a locomotive and passenger cars of a train in the Zaporizhzhia region. According to preliminary information, no one was injured.
In the Black Sea, Russia attacked a foreign merchant ship flying the flag of Antigua and Barbuda. One person was killed, and three others were injured.
Over the past 24 hours, on July 17, Russian troops launched strikes on Kharkiv and 29 other settlements in the Kharkiv region. Two people were killed and 18 others were injured as a result of the shelling; among the injured were five children.
