Three Shahid drones were found in Kharkiv that had crashed without exploding
During another enemy attack on the evening of May 25, Russian occupation forces launched “Shahed”-type attack drones toward Kharkiv. Several drones crashed in the Nemyshlyanskyi and Novobavarskyi districts of the city; however, fortunately for local residents, their warheads did not detonate.
This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, and photos of the undamaged UAVs were shared on local social media pages, according to Channel 24.
Footage from the crash sites shows unusual consequences of the attack:
One of the Russian drones got stuck in tree branches after losing altitude.
A second was found in the middle of trash bins in a residential neighborhood.
A third drone struck the wall of a residential building and subsequently fell onto a flower bed near the building.
At the sites where unexploded drones were found, specialists from the police bomb squad and the State Emergency Service immediately began work to safely neutralize, remove, and further examine them. Official agencies are once again urging citizens to exercise extreme caution and under no circumstances approach the debris of downed or crashed aerial targets, as they may contain hidden explosives or hazardous fuel residues.
