A doctor was killed in Kherson as a result of a Russian attack
Russian troops struck a medical facility in Kherson. A 63-year-old doctor was killed in the attack after sustaining fatal injuries. Authorities also reported another casualty from Russian shelling that day.
In Kherson, Russian troops attacked one of the city’s medical facilities. A doctor who was on duty was killed in the strike. This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, the victim of the attack was a 63-year-old medical professional. “A doctor was killed as a result of a Russian strike on a medical facility in Kherson. A 63-year-old man sustained fatal injuries,” Prokudin said. The circumstances of the strike and information about possible other casualties are being clarified.
Earlier that same day, regional authorities reported another casualty of a Russian attack. In downtown Kherson, the occupiers dropped explosives from a drone onto a civilian vehicle. As a result, a 41-year-old man was killed.
The Kherson region remains under enemy shelling on a daily basis. According to the regional military administration, three people were killed in the region over the past 24 hours alone as a result of Russian attacks. Another 45 civilians were wounded. Among the injured are three children.
Russian troops regularly shell populated areas in the Kherson region using various types of weapons. They employ attack drones, guided bombs, missiles, and multiple-launch rocket systems in their attacks. Residential neighborhoods, medical facilities, critical infrastructure, public transportation, and civilian vehicles are all coming under fire. Due to the constant shelling in the region, there are daily casualties and injuries among the civilian population.
Emergency responders, medical personnel, and law enforcement officers continue to work at the sites of Russian attacks, addressing the aftermath and providing assistance to the victims. Authorities are once again urging residents of the region not to ignore air raid sirens and to take shelter whenever possible.
