In Kyiv, the death toll from the Russian attack has risen to 19

The death toll in Kyiv has risen following a massive Russian strike on the night of July 6. As of this morning, rescue workers had recovered one more body from the rubble in the Darnytskyi district, bringing the total number of victims to 19.

According to the State Emergency Service, rescue workers recovered three more bodies from the rubble in the Darnytskyi district overnight.

“The total number of victims of the nighttime attack has risen to 19,” the State Emergency Service reported.

Emergency rescue operations are currently ongoing. At the site of the strike, crews continue to clear the rubble and search for possible survivors.

As a reminder, on the night of July 6, Russian forces launched a massive strike on Kyiv, resulting in the destruction and damage of residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

The Darnytskyi district of the capital was hit the hardest, where rescuers are continuing search-and-rescue operations.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Earlier, Zelenskyy warned that Russia was preparing a new massive strike.

As a reminder, the Russians last launched a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of July 2. At that time, Russian forces launched 496 UAVs of various types and 74 missiles—air-, ground-, and sea-based—of various types at Ukraine.
