Traffic has been blocked on seven streets in Kyiv following a massive attack by Russia
In Kyiv, following a massive nighttime attack by Russian occupiers, traffic has been temporarily blocked on a number of streets in several districts of the city.
Oleksiy Biloshitsky, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, officially announced the temporary changes to traffic management.
Special restrictions were introduced to ensure public safety and facilitate the rapid response of emergency services.
Currently, cleanup efforts are underway at the sites where debris fell, and a comprehensive inspection of damaged structures is being conducted.
Law enforcement officials are urging drivers in the capital to be as cautious as possible and to plan their routes in advance, taking into account any restrictions.
Traffic controllers are on duty at blocked road sections to help redirect traffic around the obstructions.
According to data released by the patrol police, traffic is fully or partially restricted on the following sections of the city’s infrastructure:
— Karpatska Sich Street — from the intersection with Sumskaya Street to the intersection with Vasyl Zhukovsky Street;
— Okhtyrsky Lane — from the intersection with Mykhailo Maksymovych Street to the intersection with Kholodnyarska Street;
— Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska Street — from the intersection with Nyzhniy Val Street to the intersection with Turivska Street;
— Verkhovynna Street — from the intersection with Sviatoshynska Street to the intersection with Anatolii Petrytskyi Street;
— Gareth Jones Street — from the intersection with Dorogozhytska Street to the intersection with Derevlyanska Street;
— Degtyarivska Street — from the intersection with Starozhytomyrskyi Lane to the intersection with Zoologichna Street;
— Zoologichna Street — from the intersection with Beresteiskyi Avenue to the intersection with Degtyarivska Street.

As a reminder, Russia attacked dozens of settlements in the Kherson region over the past 24 hours, resulting in casualties.
On the evening of May 24, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region, hitting a high-rise residential building. A woman was killed in the attack, and five other people were wounded.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, a business center was hit following a massive nighttime attack by Russia. Preliminary reports indicate that people may be trapped inside the shelter.
