In Kyiv, a Russian missile destroyed a dealership selling premium Chinese electric cars
Russia’s massive combined attack on the night of June 2 caused widespread destruction and fires in Kyiv. One of the damaged sites was the Zeekr premium electric vehicle dealership, where the fire destroyed the building and the cars.
Footage released by rescue workers shows the severe consequences of the fire: the dealership’s premises suffered significant damage, and the vehicles inside were engulfed in flames.
Zeekr is a Chinese manufacturer of premium electric vehicles, established in 2021 by the Geely Holding Group. The company positions its models as competitors to Tesla and other global electric vehicle brands.
Geely also owns such well-known brands as Volvo Cars, Polestar, and Lotus Cars.

The name Zeekr combines the concept of Generation Z with the word “geek,” emphasizing the brand’s focus on modern technology and digital solutions.
