A Russian opposition figure has announced the end of the war

A Russian opposition figure has announced the end of the war

The occupiers in the temporarily occupied Crimea are currently facing critical logistical problems, which means that the return of the peninsula to Ukrainian control is no longer a matter for the distant future.

Prominent opposition politician and chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov emphasized that Ukrainian forces have managed to seize the strategic initiative.

In his view, the protracted war of aggression can only end with the return of the Ukrainian flag to Sevastopol.

“The Ukrainian flag flying over Sevastopol is the only way to finally eradicate the imperial spirit and destroy the virus that has taken deep root in the consciousness of the overwhelming majority. And from what we see today, this disengagement may happen much sooner than previously thought,” believes Garry Kasparov.

Currently, thanks to their technological advantage, Ukrainian drones are successfully overcoming the enemy’s air defenses.

The politician emphasized that the vast territory of the Russian Federation, which for centuries was considered the country’s main defensive barrier against foreign armies, has now begun to work against the Kremlin itself.

“Ukraine’s victory in this war is not a scenario from 1945, but from 1918, based on the total exhaustion of the enemy’s resource base. For centuries, Russia’s vast territory was considered an insurmountable barrier to advancing armies. But today, these gigantic expanses are beginning to work against Russia itself,” the opposition figure noted.

Despite Vladimir Putin’s propaganda statements, the occupying forces have achieved no real success on the battlefield, and Russian military personnel are increasingly discussing the threat of an imminent collapse of the front lines in their internal communications.

“The Kremlin has no effective antidote to this strategy. Therefore, we can say with confidence that the issue of de-occupying Crimea has finally ceased to be a matter for the distant future,” Kasparov is convinced, having openly condemned the annexation of Ukrainian territories since 2014.

This was reported by opposition politician and chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov.
