Explosions were heard in Kyiv during an air raid alert

On the evening of July 1, explosions were heard in Kyiv due to yet another attack by Russian drones. Air defense units were quickly deployed to neutralize enemy targets on the outskirts of the city.

This was reported by Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration noted that there remains a threat of strike drones continuing to move directly toward the capital. In addition, military leadership warns of a high probability of combined air attacks on the city in the coming days. Residents of the capital are strongly urged not to ignore safety alerts and to remain in shelters until the air raid alert is officially lifted.

Meanwhile, Kyiv residents have already begun heading down into the metro to wait out the attack.
