Explosions are being heard in Kyiv and the surrounding region due to a drone attack
Russian occupation forces launched a large-scale attack using strike drones, triggering a series of explosions in the capital and the Kyiv region.
The Ukrainian Air Force detected a large number of enemy targets entering Ukrainian airspace from various directions.
Currently, a state of alert has spread across a significant portion of Ukraine due to the threat of loitering munitions.
The military has warned of the complex flight paths of drones maneuvering between regions to wear down the air defense system.
According to operational data, enemy drones have been detected in central Sumy Oblast, northern and western Chernihiv Oblast, as well as in central and western Cherkasy Oblast.
The danger also persists for residents of Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
As a reminder, Russian forces carried out another combined attack on Ukraine, using strike drones and cruise missiles.
Additionally, 20 houses were damaged in Znamianka following a drone attack.
