A woman was injured in Kryvyi Rih during an attack by Russia
Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih this morning, causing a fire and injuring one civilian.
The head of the city’s Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, reported on the consequences of the shelling on Telegram.
According to him, during an air raid alert, the enemy struck an administrative building and an infrastructure facility.
“During the latest air raid alert, the enemy attacked an administrative building and an infrastructure facility. There is a fire. We have begun an emergency rescue operation,” Vilkul noted.
A 41-year-old woman was injured in the attack. She sustained a penetrating chest wound.
“A 41-year-old woman was wounded. She has a penetrating chest wound. Doctors are currently performing surgery and fighting to save her life,” Vilkul reported.
The drone attack damaged a high-voltage cable at one of the substations. This caused temporary changes in city transit routes—trolleybuses on routes #1, 2, 20, and 21 are operating on modified schedules.
“Electricians are already working to repair the damage as soon as possible,” added the head of the City Defense Council.
As a reminder, overnight, Russian drones struck railway infrastructure facilities in the Zhytomyr region. A woman was killed in the attack.
Russia has again attackedthe railway in Ukraine—trains are running with delays.
As a reminder, Russian Railways has been losing its investment appeal for the third year in a row.
