In Russia’s Ministry of Defense, a cynical reason for the night attack on Ukraine was “found"
Russia invented a cynical justification for the massive strike on Ukraine, claiming they were supposedly “responding” to terrorist acts.
This was stated by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“In response to Ukraine’s terrorist attacks on civilian facilities on Russian territory, a massive strike was carried out by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation last night,” the ministry declared.
According to the agency, the strikes were carried out with long-range, high-precision air- and ground-launched weapons, including Kinzhal aero-ballistic hypersonic missiles and long-range drones, targeting military-industrial enterprises, energy facilities, and port infrastructure that Russians associate with usage by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“The goals of the strike were achieved. All designated targets were hit,” the Russian Ministry of Defense cynically stated.
During the combined attack, explosions were heard in Kyiv. Local authorities reported air-defense activity, and the Air Force reported Kinzhal and ballistic missiles flying toward the capital.
There were impacts in Fastiv. As “Ukrzaliznytsia” reported, railway infrastructure came under attack. Because of this, passenger train routes that were supposed to pass through Fastiv are being changed urgently.
As a result of the massive drone and missile attack on Kyiv Oblast, three people were injured.
