Drones destroyed Ukrposhta vehicles in Nikopol, branch stopped working

In Nikopol, FPV drones destroyed two Ukrposhta vehicles, prompting the company to temporarily suspend operations of its mobile branches in the area. No employees were injured, as they were taking cover during the attack. This marks the fourth loss of a vehicle in the past week.

In the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Russian FPV drones once again struck civilian infrastructure, this time destroying two Ukrposhta service vehicles that were supporting the operation of mobile post offices in frontline communities. Despite the vehicles being directly hit, the employees remained unharmed because they managed to take cover during the air raid alert.

The company reported that this is not the first such incident in the region; in the past week alone, the Nikopol district has already lost four postal vehicles due to shelling. Ukrposhta emphasized that while vehicles are a replaceable resource during wartime, the greatest value lies in the people who carry out their work under conditions of constant danger. “Today, the enemy once again attacked Nikopol with FPV drones. Two Ukrposhta vehicles were hit. The vehicles were destroyed, but the equipment can be replaced. Only people are irreplaceable,” the company’s official statement reads.

Due to the sharp deterioration in the security situation, Ukrposhta has decided to temporarily suspend the operation of its mobile branches in the Nikopol district for one day. The company notes that it is simultaneously exploring alternative routes and additional safety measures for employees in order to resume service delivery in the affected communities as quickly as possible. The company announced this on Facebook.

The Kharkiv region has once again come under massive Russian attacks, resulting in the deaths of two civilians and injuries to 13 others, including children. Kharkiv and more than a dozen settlements in the region came under fire, with homes and infrastructure damaged.

Over the past 24 hours, the Kherson region has once again come under heavy shelling and drone attacks, resulting in at least 28 civilian casualties. Dozens of settlements were hit, and infrastructure and residential buildings suffered extensive damage.

Since the evening of June 19, Russian troops have attacked three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than ten times, using drones and artillery. Civilian communities were targeted, and infrastructure facilities were damaged.

Over the past day, Russian attacks on the Sumy region have left 13 people wounded in several communities. The strikes were carried out using guided aerial bombs and drones, with residential areas and civilian vehicles coming under fire.

Over the past day, Russian troops launched strikes on the Donetsk region, killing three people and wounding 13 others. The highest number of casualties was recorded in Kramatorsk.

Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 887 strikes on 47 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, 19 people were injured.
