In Nikopol, a Russian drone attacked rescue workers; there are injuries
In Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, two rescue workers were injured during a second attack by Russian FPV drones. A fire and rescue vehicle was also damaged as a result of the strike.
According to the State Emergency Service, Russian troops attacked Nikopol twice with FPV drones this morning.
“This morning, the enemy attacked Nikopol twice with FPV drones. The first attack caused fires in two private residential buildings,” the rescue service stated in a report.
After the first strike, State Emergency Service units arrived on the scene and began extinguishing the fires in the two private homes.
However, while the rescue workers were on the scene, Russian troops launched a second strike on the area.
Two rescue workers were injured as a result of the second attack.
In addition, the Russian strike damaged a fire and rescue vehicle.
Additional State Emergency Service specialists quickly arrived at the scene. They provided first aid to the injured and then transported them to a medical facility.
The Russian attack once again demonstrated the danger of repeated strikes against rescue workers operating at sites of previous shelling.

In Kyiv, the death toll from the Russian attack, which began on the night of September 8, has risen to three people. This was announced by the capital’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
On September 8, Russian troops struck the Kyiv–Sumy train with two “Shahed” missiles. The train had been stopped in advance, and passengers and crew members had been evacuated following a warning from the “Ukrzaliznytsia” monitoring team.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region as a result of the Russian attack.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
