Putin's office announced its intention to resume negotiations on Ukraine
Russia reportedly hopes to resume trilateral talks with Ukraine and the United States. At the same time, the Kremlin stated that there has been no progress in this regard so far.
This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, a spokesperson for the Russian dictator.
According to the Kremlin spokesman, Moscow still hopes to return to trilateral consultations to resolve the situation.
“We hope that we will still be able to resume trilateral talks. And we will make another attempt to achieve our goals through peaceful means,” Peskov said.
At the same time, the Russian dictator’s spokesperson acknowledged that there has been no progress on the issue of a settlement so far.
“No, there has been no progress,” he said, commenting on the prospects for resuming trilateral talks.
Earlier, Peskov spoke about resuming trilateral talks between Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia.
After that, Peskov stated that Russia is close to victory in the war against Ukraine.
An energy truce with Ukraine is not being discussed, according to Peskov.
